COVINGTON, Ky. – Halloween festivities are set to begin at the David Housley Pavilion in Randolph Park next week, with a call for participants of all ages to join in the fun. The Covington Parks and Recreation Department is organizing Pumpkin Carving Nights on October 23 and 24 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., where parents and children can showcase their pumpkin-carving skills.
Crews from the Public Works Department in Covington, Kentucky, will commence leaf collection on Monday, October 21. The initiative targets residential neighborhoods with significant tree coverage where leaves obstruct gutters and streets.
