The Covington Farmers Market is set to host its annual Farm to Fork fundraiser on Saturday, June 21, at Covington Plaza from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The event serves as the primary fundraising initiative for the market and will feature a variety of food items sourced from local growers and vendors.
This year's menu will be buffet-style, offering selections such as pineapple teriyaki bratwurst skewers from Hampton Ridge Farm, lamb gyro kebabs from North Valley Croft, sausage stuffed mushrooms from Pine Hill Farm, and sassy pimento cheese with pretzel bites from Boone Creek Creamery. Attendees can also purchase beer and ciders provided by West Sixth Brewing Covington Haus.
Music will be provided by Meadowgrass Mule Unit, known for their energetic mix of Bluegrass, Americana, and folk music.
The Covington Farmers Market operates under The Greater for Great Neighborhoods program and relies on donations and sponsorships from the community along with various events.
Farm to Fork is an adults-only event for those aged 21 and over. Tickets are available while supplies last through greatneighborhoods.networkforgood.com.
