COVINGTON, Ky. – As Memorial Day weekend approaches, residents of Covington are reminded to honor the memory of those who died serving in the military. The city will host its annual Memorial Day Parade and various ceremonies on Monday.
In addition to commemorative events, the weekend offers a variety of activities for locals and visitors alike. Braxton Brewing Co. is hosting Music Bingo on The Rooftop tonight, where participants can enjoy music-themed bingo with friends.
For those interested in unique finds, Friday's "She Thinks My Yard Sale’s Sexy" at 2616 Decoursey Ave promises treasures from six estates, organized by The Roost Latonia and Curated Design & Décor.
On Saturday, the Covington Farmers Market will feature offerings from the Kenton County Public Library along Washington Street. Visitors can explore healthy food options and browse through new book releases.
Live music performances are scheduled throughout the weekend at various venues including Smoke Justis and Madison Live. Tonight features Marty Connor Duo at Smoke Justis and Keep Flying's Record Release Show at Madison Live.
Additional events include Disco Bingo Thursday at Galaxie tonight and $2 Oysters at Ripple Wine Bar. On Saturday, attendees can join the MainStrasse Village Food Tour or participate in Purr Paint Sip Plus Cats at Purrfect Day Cat Café. Trivia Sundays will be held at West Sixth Covington Haus.
