This weekend in Covington, Kentucky, promises a variety of events catering to diverse interests. The festivities include the Covington Maifest 2025 at Goebel Park, featuring German-themed activities such as maypole dancing and live music. The event runs through Sunday with food, artisan vendors, and a Children's Entrepreneur Market.

Saturday morning invites residents to participate in the Ohio River Sweep Litter Clean-Up Event at Pete Rose Pier. Organized by Covington’s Solid Waste & Recycling Division in partnership with Keep Covington Beautiful, this initiative aims to clean up the river's edge.

For those interested in nature, Saturday's Tree Walk in Botany Hills offers a guided tour led by horticulture agent Brandon George and urban forester Patrick Moore. Participants will meet at St. John’s Congregational Church.
