Teri Meyer, a lifelong resident of Covington, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2025, at St. Elizabeth in Edgewood. She is survived by her daughter, Amy Joy Meyer, and siblings Mike, Dave, Joanie, Joyce, and Lori. Meyer was known for her dedication to education and community service, including her work with the Covington Human Rights Commission. She advocated for legislation promoting accessibility for individuals with disabilities and championed the local version of the CROWN Act in Covington. The City of Covington declared "Teri Meyer Day" on April 11, 2025, in recognition of her commitment to service and compassion. Meyer's legacy will endure through the laws she helped enact and the lives she touched. A visitation and funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025, at Serenity Funeral Care in Covington. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society or The Parish Kitchen.
