In Covington, Kentucky, various indoor activities and events are set to engage the community, regardless of the weather. On Friday, the Covington Urban Forestry Board, in partnership with the Kentucky Division of Forestry, will host a Kentucky Arbor Day Ceremony at Goebel Park. The event will include the planting of a memorial tree and the distribution of 200 Bald Cypress seedlings, accompanied by planting instructions.

The Arbor Day celebrations continue on Saturday with the Urban Forestry Board’s Spring Tree Planting event, also at Goebel Park. Volunteers are invited to help plant between 25 and 30 trees. However, attendees are advised to check the Covington Urban Forestry Board’s Facebook page for weather-related updates.

On Saturday, adults can participate in Bingo Night with Rescue Cats at Purrfect Day Cat Café, which offers an hour of bingo in the cat lounge, along with feline interaction, special prices on cocktails, and prizes for bingo winners.

The Easter Egg Dot Painting Class at Purple Paisley, Local Artisan Shop, offers participants the chance to craft a wooden, laser-cut, 3-dimensional Easter egg. No prior painting skills are required.

Sunday's Granny Square Crochet workshop at Handzy Shop + Studio provides instruction in various crochet techniques. All necessary materials are included in the workshop fee, though attendees are encouraged to bring their creativity.

For a unique form of relaxation, Goat Yoga at West Sixth Covington Haus on Sunday provides a beginner-level yoga session with baby Nigerian Dwarf goats, allowing participants to interact with the animals while engaging in stress reduction.

Live music events include Drake White's performance at Madison Theater on Thursday, followed by numerous other acts, including OG NIXIN and Motta Maadi Music, occurring through Saturday at various local venues.

Additional activities range from exhibits on Northern Kentucky sports legends at Behringer-Crawford Museum to food tours and workshops across Covington, ensuring diverse entertainment options throughout the weekend.
