Ruby Miller, Known for Compassion and Advocacy, Passes Away at 80

Newport, KY - Ruby Miller, 80, of Newport, Kentucky, passed away on March 16, 2025. Born on June 17, 1944, in Dayton, KY, Ruby was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend known for her compassion, kindness, and service to others. She worked as a Parent Teacher Coordinator and Parent Advocate, advocating passionately for children and families. Ruby enjoyed softball, fishing, trips to Vegas, and boat visits, but treasured time with her family above all. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, sister, and the grandson she raised. A memorial gathering will be held on March 28, 2025, at Serenity Funeral Care in Covington. In accordance with Ruby's wishes, her body was donated to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center for Scientific Research. Ruby's legacy of love, generosity, and advocacy will be remembered by all who knew her.
