COVINGTON, Ky. – The Bonded Spirit Music Festival is set to take place this Saturday in Covington, promising a variety of activities and performances across the city. The festival will feature the Bonded Spirit Music Trail, which offers attendees a map to navigate various musical performances throughout the area.
In addition to music, the event includes yoga sessions, workshops for St. Patrick’s Day preparations, jewelry-making classes, and an information session for the Great American Cleanup. The yoga class titled "Flow & Unwind Yoga" at the Kenton County Public Library aims to provide relaxation and refreshment.
For those preparing for St. Patrick's Day, several workshops are scheduled at the library on Friday and Saturday. These include demonstrations on 3D Printed Celtic Knot Earrings and Pendants, as well as sessions on creating St. Patrick’s Day Stickers and participating in a Green Tie Dye workshop.
Jewelry enthusiasts can attend a Pendant Design & Creation class at Purple Paisley, Local Artisan Shop on Saturday. Participants will design pendants using materials such as blue chalcedony, blue lace agate, Swarovski crystals, and metal beads.
The Great American Cleanup Information Session will be held at The Roost Latonia on Saturday. This session is organized by The Center for Great Neighborhoods in partnership with Keep Covington Beautiful and The Roost Latonia. Attendees will receive information about registering for the cleanup event scheduled for April 26 and can offer suggestions to enhance this year’s efforts.
Music lovers can look forward to performances from artists such as Sydney Adams at Revival Vintage Spirits & Bottle Shop; Jonny Estep & Gravel Drive at The Globe Covington; Branden Martin at Wenzel Whiskey; Billy Cantrell at Knowledge Bar & Social Room; Marcus Oglesby at Wiseguy Lounge; and Jonathan Cox at Libby’s Southern Comfort.
Additional performers include Brothers Comatose, Lindsay Lou, Rob Ickes & Trey Hensley on the Main Stage at Smoke Justis with a backdrop of the Roebling Suspension Bridge.
Live music events continue throughout the weekend with performances by Missy Werner Band tonight at Molly Malone’s Irish Pub & Restaurant and Billy Cantrell again performing tonight at Smoke Justis.
Other activities over the weekend include Ripple’s Monthly Tasting tonight at The Bottle Shop and Wine Tasting at Crafts & Vines. On Saturday, there is also a Covington Farmers Market hosted by Braxton Brewing Co., along with MainStrasse Village Food Tour and Petal Pop Earring Workshop at Handzy Shop + Studio. Sunday features Damon’s Yoga with Rescue Cats event held at Purrfect Day Cat Café.
