Holiday festivities planned across Covington this weekend

COVINGTON, Ky. – This weekend offers a range of holiday activities in Covington, Kentucky.

On Friday, the Hellmann Creative Center will host a Winter Solstice Celebration, inviting attendees to craft their own paper lanterns and participate in community poetry and drumming.

Saturday morning features Pancakes with Mrs. Claus at the Creative House of Art & Design, offering children festive crafts and movies alongside breakfast.

Covington residents can visit the Behringer-Crawford Museum for free on Saturday as part of Covington City Day. The museum's "Holly Jolly City Days" includes the 33rd Annual Holiday Toy Trains exhibit and an interactive LEGO display. Visitors can also preview the "White Christmas" exhibit returning in 2025.

Braxton Brewing Company is hosting its 6th Annual Reindeer Games Pub Crawl on Saturday evening. Participants will engage in holiday games across multiple venues for prizes while wearing festive attire.

The Carnegie will feature No Promises vocal band performing their Christmas concert on Saturday night, showcasing songs from various artists including Joni Mitchell and The Temptations.

Live music events are scheduled throughout the weekend at different locations including Madison Live, Juniper’s, Smoke Justis, and Madison Theater.

Additional activities include a Holiday Wine Tasting at Crafts & Vines tonight and several other events over the weekend such as a Farmers Market at Braxton Brewing Company and Brunch with Santa at Coppin’s.
