Thanksgiving week sees no changes in Covington's waste collection schedule

Ron Washington Mayor Pro Tem/Commissioner | City of Covington

If your trash and recycling are regularly collected on Thursday or Friday in Covington, Kentucky, you can set your carts out as usual this Thanksgiving week. The City of Covington will maintain its regular schedule throughout the holiday without any delays or interruptions in service.

However, the Covington Transfer Station operated by Rumpke Waste & Recycling off Boron Drive in Latonia will have reduced hours. On Thanksgiving Day, the facility will be open from 8 a.m. to noon. It will resume normal hours on Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon.

For more information about trash and recycling services in the city, residents can refer to Solid Waste & Recycling resources.
