Covington hosts diverse cultural events including theater productions and guided tours

COVINGTON, Ky. – A variety of events are scheduled in Covington this weekend, offering diverse activities for residents and visitors alike.

At the Purrfect Day Cat Café, participants can engage in "Collaging and Kitten Cuddles with Annie," combining art creation with the company of playful kittens. The event provides materials for collaging, encouraging creativity among both seasoned artists and beginners.

The Carnegie and the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music present a co-production titled "Witch" on Friday. This play features a devil character who arrives in an English town to make deals for souls in exchange for wishes. The story is described as a modern fable that delves into themes of temptation and resilience.

For those interested in history, Saturday offers an African American Walking Tour starting at the John Augustus Roebling Statue on Riverside Drive. The tour explores the Ohio River's historical significance to African American resistance and leadership from the 1800s onward.

Art enthusiasts can join Creative House of Art & Design's Pink Pony Club guided painting event on Saturday, inspired by Chappell Roan’s music. Participants will enjoy painting sessions while listening to her hits, with drinks and snacks provided.

Behringer-Crawford’s Holly Jolly Days returns on Saturday, marking the start of holiday festivities with new attractions such as animated displays and vintage Christmas décor exhibits.
