Covington honors veterans working within city departments

Covington, Ky. – Covington is home to numerous memorial sites, statues, and plaques dedicated to honoring the military veterans who have served the country in both peace and war. The city's residents have shown remarkable courage throughout history, whether facing battlefields or enduring rigorous training.

As Veterans Day approaches on Monday, City Hall will be closed. Today, Covington takes a moment to recognize all its veterans and especially those currently serving within the city government.

In the Administration department, Harold Conley served in the Army. The Finance department includes Jerome Heist, also an Army veteran.

The Fire Department honors Matt Archer (Navy), Aaron Bolyard (Army), Nick Boots (Navy), Joe Bowman (Army), Andrew Burk (Army), Ben Erdman (Marine Corps), Terry Galliher (Army), Chris Greer (Army), Jacob Hughes (Air Force), Sara McPherson Jenkins (Air Force), Brandon Kersting (Air Force), Jonathan Krull (Army), Kaleb Miller (Navy), Mark Ober (Army), Jordan Warner (Marine Corps), Ben Wasson (Army), Cornell White (Marine Corps) and Zack Williams from the Air Force. Stan Wylie also served in the Army.

Neighborhood Services recognizes Walt Mace for his service in the Army.
