Tuesday, March 11: Covington Catholic High School standout Jonathan Fitz’s college team wins to UC Santa Barbara Gauchos

On Tuesday, March 11, former Covington Catholic High School standout Jonathan Fitz’s current college team, the San Diego Toreros, won 8-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos.

The game took place at Caesar Uyesaka Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Gauchos this season.

The Toreros’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 15 at 5 p.m. at Fowler Park against Columbia Lions.
