Norma Jean Collins, 82, of Dayton, KY, passed away on April 16, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on July 27, 1942, in Waddy, KY, Norma was remembered for her resilience, love, and deep faith in God.

A member of the Church of the Nazarene in Corbin, KY, Norma's faith and passion for gospel music shone brightly. She was a standout alumna of the School for the Blind, known for her remarkable speed in learning Braille.

Above all, Norma treasured her family. Her home was a place of open arms and overflowing love for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Norma's legacy of love and devotion will endure in the hearts of those who knew her.

Norma is survived by her son, Richard Collins; daughters Rebecca Fryman and Pamela Sawyers; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Collins, daughter Kathy Collins, and several siblings.
